The Afternoon After: Looking Back at the 2020 Election and Ahead to 2021
Join us for post-election panel and a look ahead to 2021
Top political experts will offer perspective on what the 2020 election results in the 7th and 11th Congressional districts and the special election in the 25th Legislative District mean for New Jersey in the next Zoom/Facebook webinar hosted by the Corporation for New Jersey Local Media and New Jersey Hills Media Group, publishers of this newspaper.
The panel, “The Afternoon After: Looking Back at the 2020 Election and Ahead to 2021,” will be held on Wednesday, November 4, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Panelists will include Assembly Minority Leader Jon Bramnick (R-Union); Leroy Jones, the Essex County Democratic leader who is slated to take over as State Democratic Chair in June; Colleen O’Dea, Editor-at-Large for New Jersey Spotlight; and Fred Snowflack, political reporter for Insidernj.com who has been covering the 7th, 11th and 25th District races.
“While we are all focused primarily on the battle for the presidency and control of Congress, the results in the 7th and 11th and other swing congressional districts in New Jersey, and the 25th District Senate and Assembly races that are the only state legislative contests will tell us a lot about where New Jersey stands politically heading into the 2021 gubernatorial and legislative elections,” said Amanda Richardson, executive director of the Corporation for New Jersey Local Media.
Attendees can sign up for a Zoom link at www.newsweneed.org or directly at https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_JeR7LVPbSUWTrnlhSvJAng, or can watch the panel on the New Jersey Hills Media Group’s 14 Facebook sites.
